Mini Exploratorium Poster Board Guidelines
Your Poster Board presentation should provide the necessary steps for a person to interact
independently
with your activity.
Components:
Title
– Try to pose it as a question to encourage people to think through the problem using your exhibit. (Ex: Why is the Sky Blue?)
Student name(s) and Grade(s)
To Do and Notice
section in your own words, if possible - exhibit instructions
What’s Going On?
section in your own words, if possible
If you posed a question, hide the answer under a paper flap (can go on the table)
If possible, make multiples of the hands-on components so more than one person can try it out or in case something breaks (have spare parts available)
For those with single use exhibits, please plan a way to demonstrate it several times throughout the evening
